Pregnancy & Midwifery Nursing

Pregnancy is also called as a gestational term or fertilization. This is the stage in which the foetus grows in the womb of a woman. Pregnancy is branched into three trimesters. Nursing and care that need to be taken during pregnancy varies with the woman trimester. Pregnancy is consistently branched into three trimesters. The first trimester is from week one through 12 and carries conception. Second trimester is from week 13 through 28. Around the middle of the second trimester, development of the foetus may be felt. The third trimester is from 29 weeks through 40 weeks. Midwifery referred as the delivery or labour practice for pregnant woman practiced by trained midwives. The name midwife follows a philosophy of care that is aimed toward women and their respective reproductive demands. A midwife generally attempts a range of privileges and explores to eliminate or reduce irrelevant mediations.
